Assist the Network Infrastructure Manager with acquiring quotes to renew service contracts and to purchase solutions for various network technologies. • System administrator and technical lead on MDM solution for managing Apple and Android devices. • Responsible for creating and maintaining Visio diagrams of various network topologies within the environment. • Research network technologies and propose solutions to address technical needs of the agency. • Responsible for troubleshooting issues involving internet and metro ethernet services. • Document and recommend IP address schema required for networks and layer 3 routing interfaces throughout the environment. • Coordinate preventive maintenance with APC to maintain stable battery backup and AC units for the production data center. • Technical lead on routing and switching configurations for both the production and disaster recovery environments. • Technical lead on configuration and maintenance to core, distribution, and data center switches. • Technical lead on configuration and maintenance of Wireless Infrastructure. This includes the management of 60+ access points throughout the campus area network. • Technical lead on the configuration and management of policy sets for RADIUS, TACACS+ and 802.1x authentication methods. • Responsible for designing, installing and managing network infrastructure equipment for multiple remote sites throughout South Carolina’s 46 counties.
