Hello! My name is Cedric. I am currently attending Brooklyn College as a graduate student pursuing my Master\'s in Mental Health Counseling.Throughout my academic journey, I have been presented with a plethora of opportunites to gain insight and knowledge around Mental Health and Psychology overall. One opportunity that stands out from my undergraduate years was when I was granted the chance to participate in a Senior Thesis under the lab of Dr. Adar Eisenbruch. I was able to view different sides of Psychology, specifically Evolutionary Psychology. As a lab assistant, I designed multiple facial manipulations, analyzed statistical data, and gained a strong understanding as to how we as humans have evolved to perceive society around us today.With my experiences as an at-home caregiver, I\'ve developed the ability to provide crucial assistance to individuals who need support with their day-to-day living. I have been trained under the supervision of multiple health professionals to supply the best care possible, while also balancing the challenges of a student athlete. I believe that this has taught me valuable lessons in life, as well as improving my time-management, communication, and a magnitude of other skills.I am hopeful to connect with different individuals, professionals, and organizations to collaborate, research, and overall create an impact in the field of psychology.
