ABOUT CEDAR EAMONN
As a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota, I am passionate about advancing our understanding of the brain and nervous system. I have been working in the Neuro-pediatrics department for over nine months, where I perform various tasks such as animal care/testing, DNA/RNA/cDNA extractions, lab setup, data collection, analysis, and scientific writing. I enjoy the daily challenges and opportunities to collaborate with the medical team and grow my expertise in neuroscience.In addition to my research experience, I have also developed strong customer service and leadership skills through my roles as a Server at Corktown Deli and a Shift Lead at Coldstone Creamery. I have demonstrated my ability to multitask, manage costs, and provide excellent service to customers. Outside of the classroom and work environment, I am a member of the CBS events board, a CBS ambassador and a board member for MEDLIFE. I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges, and I am confident that my diverse background and passion for neuroscience make me a valuable asset to any team.
