ABOUT CECILIA KADEHA
Dr. Cecilia Fabian Kadeha is a Transport Specialist at the World Bank and serves as the Road Safety focal point for India and a member of the Road Safety & Design (H-7) Committee of Indian road Congress (IRC). Originally from Tanzania, Cecilia holds a Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering from Florida International University and a strong academic foundation in civil engineering. Her research focuses on traffic operations, safety analysis, and innovative approaches to improve transportation systems, with several publications on international journals.Cecilia has extensive global experience, having worked on transport projects across Africa, United states of America, Europe, and South Asia. Her work includes capacity building, designing and implementing road safety initiatives, audits, crash data management systems, and resilient infrastructure solutions that integrate climate adaptation measures.
