As a dedicated undergraduate student majoring in Financial Analysis and Risk Management at the University of Waterloo, I am eager to express my interest in the co-op program.Throughout my academic journey, I have honed my fundamental knowledge in financial calculations, programming, statistics, financial accounting, and investment. My proficiency in Python, RStudio, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and SQL further amplifies my capabilities to analyze complex financial data and craft comprehensive reports.In my recent work term, I have furthered my preparation by delving into key subjects essential for this role. My previous experience as a Technical Analyst at Riders Plus Insurance showcased my self-management and communication skills, acute attention to details and learning agility. I have demonstrated expertise in assessing customer eligibility and proactively managing risks, adhering to diverse insurance regulations. While working closely with brokers, I successfully amended policies, reviewed and underwrote insurance applications using advanced platforms.
