This is a continuation of my previous role following a merger between the two companies.• Acquiring and commissioning new fiction and non-fiction titles in line with Neem Tree Press and Unbound\'s identity and values, informed by a strong awareness of the market.• Close communication with authors, commissioning content, working through content and line-editing stages of the editorial process, responding to any queries, and supporting authors at events.• Copy-editing and proofreading.• Briefing editorial freelancers and ensuring adherence to schedule.• Writing key copy including blurbs and synopses.• Attending key books fairs to acquire new titles. • Providing designers with illustration and cover briefs, and delivering feedback on their work.• Creating visual materials such as endpapers or illustrations for titles using Photoshop and InDesign.• Producing and maintaining relevant documents including advance information sheets to support the Foreign Rights, Sales, and Marketing departments.
