About Carlos E. Barboza
I gained valuable experience, as a drilling foreman, supervising the drilling of exploratory wells in East Texas including the use of various drilling and completion tools. I gained experience applying a manufacturing approach, as a field engineer assisting in the drilling of developmental wells in the Permian Basin, and ensuring that uniformity was key in ensuring safe and efficient use of our allotted capital.As a former BMW Master Certified Technician and FAA Licensed Aircraft Mechanic, and current Drilling Engineer I aspire to add value through problem solving, and implementation of efficient procedures for all jobs.On my spare time I\'m an avid computer scientist, and iOS developer. I am currently learning about lisp through newLisp and Clojure after completing an artificial intelligence class while at LSU, and doing my best to implement many ideas floating around in my head into possible future iPhone/iPad applications.Future interests involve problem solving through parallel computing, and its application to Petroleum Engineering.
