Currently assigned as the N6 Dept Head for the Commander 2nd Fleet Future Operations detachment.2020 to 2021 Officer in Charge of the Knoxville Operational Support Unit and cross assigned as the N6A supporting NATO ACT Det ALT unit that supports NATO HQ Europe & Norfolk VACurrently a fully qualified Information Professional / Information Warfare Officer Lieutenant / Assistant Battle Watch CaptainPrevious assignments include:Commander Naval Forces Europe /Commander Naval Forces Africa / Commander 6th Fleet HQ Detachment 802 US Forces Japan Det 105Participated in 3 US Forces Japan Headquarters exercises UFG, Keen Sword 17 and the US / Japan Senior Communicators Symposium (Tokyo Japan) Aug, Nov & Dec 2016. After returning from Exercise Juniper Cobra in Cypress in March 2016 I was told I was hand selected to take part in a Flag training event / Diplomatic conference of 46 Admirals from 20 European / NATO nations being hosted jointly by the 6th Fleet Commander and the US Navy War College in April 2016. In November 2015 and March 2016 I participated in exercise Juniper Cobra 16 while embarked aboard the 6th Fleet Flag ship as Assistant Battle watch Captain. This exercise simulated an evacuation of US citizens residing in Lebanon due to armed hostilities. I traveled to Germany in March of 2015 to act as the IT Team Lead for the build out of IT Network and Communications virtual environments for 4 major Joint military exercises. I took part in a 47 nation NATO Radio and IT Communications Interoperability exercise called African Endeavor 2013 in the nation of Zambia Africa as the lead technical advisor to the central African nations to help teach communications protocols. Previously served 8 years as NCO Sailor in Navy Reserve as Electronics Technician Surface where I worked on or served aboard 37 US Navy Ships working on the installation, maintence and repair of ship electronic systems.
