I\'ve always loved technology, from our family borrowing an IBM 8525 to browsing Blockbuster Video rentals with a 14.4 kb/s modem, I\'ve always had an interest in what\'s new and how it works. But we’re long past those days. Recently I’ve worked with 10 Gb/s fibre optic network administration with public/private clouds on Microsoft Windows Server on computer hardware with Hyper-V in a tier three data centre and virtualization with Amazon Web Services EC2. Deploying operating systems, troubleshooting environments, active directory system administration and designing for disaster recovery and network security with configuration of firewalls. I’m also experienced in communicating, supporting web marketing campaigns, writing press releases, presenting to the public and participating with media interviews. Ensuring teamwork and providing leadership for projects at non-profits and being involved with corporate sustainability and social committee’s, planning and executing events with coworkers.
