For most people, 2020 Was a difficult year! For me, it was life-changing. I adopted my little girl, which was at times difficult but overall continues to be an amazing experience. After a year\'s battle, we lost my father-in-law to cancer. And then there was Covid. These events lead me to take a much-needed look at myself. I wanted to do something a bit more meaningful and help my brother Ross, so together we co-founded our company Standout socks. My brother Ross has Down syndrome. Since leaving education he has always found it difficult to find a job. so instead of the endless disappointment of trying to find him a job, we created him one. Since our website launched in October 2021, its been nothing but an amazing rollercoaster!
