About Christopher Jones

I am from Compton, CA and recently graduated from San Francisco State with a BS in Business Management. I was able to attend this University thanks to receiving the Presidential Scholarship. I have always been outgoing and found myself being around diverse people, which led me to join; my fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, studying abroad in France, and being involved on campus by working with SFSU’s housing department. I just moved back to Los Angeles and I am currently working at a nonprofit (City Year) serving disadvantaged students. I also just finished an apprenticeship with the COOP Tech Sales cohort. I hope that with the skills I have gained that I can use them to further create safe and diverse spaces within organizations to foster growth and develop real working relationships. I hope to pursue a career that allows me to impact not only the customer but also employees, making changes in organizational structures that make it healthy and comfortable for peers to grow and flourish.
