About Caleb Gum
I\'m a Software Engineer for Pure Storage, focusing on delivering a robust and user-friendly data platform for a variety of customers, big and small. If it\'s related to FlashArray data replication, I\'ve probably spent some time working on it, with a special focus on ActiveDR continuous replication.Mentorship, teaching, and team-building are some of my favorite parts of professional life, and I\'ve been fortunate to have both excellent mentors and and mentees. I strive to foster an open and welcoming team environment and enjoy the easy communication and productivity such an environment provides. My responsibilities have spanned from dedicated technical individual contribution to tech lead and project manager for small teams, and I\'m comfortable moving between those roles as the project requires. Outside of work, I am an avid acoustic musician (fiddle and mandolin) and enjoy spending time serving music nonprofits and finding local jam sessions. I\'m always looking for fellow musicians to connect with.At Princeton, I developed with a passion for side projects and sustainability, helping run and found a number of clubs and earning a certificate in Sustainable Energy.
