Along with many other tasks, I act as an Interim Press Secretary to manage media relations and public messaging. I coordinate agency responses to media inquiries regarding EXIM\'s domestic and international activities. I direct communications efforts for major agency events, including creating and executing traditional and social media strategies with the communications team. One of my key assignments in this role is to act as a project manager for congressionally mandated reports, while overseeing deliverables with external contractors, making sure of agency-wide alignment, securing approval from appointed officials, and ensuring timely submission. I use databases and tools like Cision, Mailchimp, Sprout Social, Meltwater, LexisNexis, and Hootsuite for media monitoring and content distribution.Below listed are my key accomplishments within this role:• Raised awareness about significant agency events such as the Annual Conference and 90th Anniversary, as well as domestic travel for EXIM-appointed officials in collaboration with the external engagement team.• Oversaw over 60% of external written communication (press releases and media advisories); authored op-ed for U.S. News and World Report.• Completed a three-month internal rotation in the Office of Outreach and Education, focusing on EXIM\'s external outreach and supporting the development of new market strategies.• Promoted and implemented agency-wide initiatives in coordination with the internal communications team to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
