Carl is working as a Principal Consultant for a UK based cloud solution provider across both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Salesforce practice areas. In the last two years I have been heavily involved with the delivery of over a dozen Amazon Connect projects which make use of a variety of AWS services including Kinesis, Transcribe, Comprehend, Contact Lens, CloudWatch, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Systems Manager and Secrets Manager. Many of these projects involved integrations through to Salesforce (both using the Amazon Connect CTI Adapter and Service Cloud Voice). I have also written and deployed (using AWS SAM) several Lambdas (written in Java and Python) to access other systems to dynamically change the behaviour of call flows to account for scenarios such as order enquiry and products lookups. I also perform many Enterprise Architecture engagements which include specification of “as is” and “to be” state with deliverables including process maps, component diagrams, sequence diagrams and phased delivery plans. In addition to my delivery responsibilities, on a daily basis, I undertake a multitude of other tasks which include sales tasks that cover creating customer proposals, delivery estimates and Statement of Works, Partner Management (with Salesforce and AWS), through to Enterprise Architecture, Pre-Sales and team mentoring.
