Responsible for the AWS Security of enterprise wide solutions, multiple business unit solutions, single business unit solutions and proof of concepts for on premises to AWS migrations and AWS architected solutions consisting of single region and multi region solutions encompassing every level of disaster recovery level. Ensuring the security for Rehosting migrations, RePlatforming of existing solutions leveraging AWS managed services and ReFactoring of solutions with completely new architecture leveraging AWS services to modernize the solution with the design goal of the zero trust security framework. Daily activities include consulting with Enterprise Portfolio Architects to review solutions ensuring that the security is in compliance with Fannie Mae guidelines combined with NIST and FedRAMP guidelines with the inclusion of AWS Best Practices. Active participation in Enterprise Architecture reviews of all solutions to assist colleagues with technical aspects of the solutions to maintain compliance with FNMA guidelines to secure solutions deployed at AWS. Providing hands on IAM Role, Policy, Security Group/NACL rules and security evaluations for assigned projects and submitted IAM Policies. Primary Security Architect for the AWS Data Storage and Database solutions including Redshift, RDS, EMR, DynamoDB and S3/Athena repeatable patterns and minimum viable architecture solutions for company wide uses.
