ABOUT CHRIS CASSINO

I am the VP of IT and CISO at Cobalt Benefits Group, a leading provider of benefit administration solutions. With over 20 years of experience in IT operations, systems/networking, and management, I have a track record of delivering revenue and continuous improvement results in data center, managed IT, telephony, cloud services, and mobility. I also hold a Mini MBA from Bentley University, which enhances my business acumen and strategic thinking.In my current role, I oversee the strategy, policy, and technology aspects of Cobalt\'s IT infrastructure and security, aligning IT with business goals, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation, and enhancing customer satisfaction and retention. I have led several projects to modernize and optimize Cobalt\'s IT environment, such as datacenter transition, multiple infrastructure modrenization projects and the constant evolution of the security landscape. I have also collaborated with global peers on infrastructure and IT policy standardization and enforcement, and provided IT direction and support for manufacturing facilities in New Hampshire and Michigan. I am passionate about IT SecOps, and have demonstrated my skills in servers, networking, virtualization, security, and other IT domains. I am an effective communicator, negotiator, and team leader, who takes ownership, works collaboratively, and communicates effectively.
