ABOUT CLAUDETTE B MCCARRON

Claudette McCarron is the Founder and Principal Interior Designer and Marketing Consultant at CBM Creative. Combining her design sensibility with a strong foundation in marketing, she partners with clients on residential projects while also helping design professionals strengthen their brand presence. She brings a distinctive client-focused approach informed by years of building trusted relationships in marketing. Thoughtful and efficient about every aspect. Purposeful in everything she proposes. Claudette’s own perspective is a global one. As a dual citizen of the United States and United Kingdom who has lived on three continents and called London home for 10 years, her design aesthetic is inspired by art and architecture from abroad.Claudette is a dedicated community builder who serves on the AAPI Design Alliance (AAPIDA) National Executive Board and as President of the Philadelphia Chapter. She welcomes PA creatives to join AAPIDA, whose mission is \"to foster Asian American Pacific Islander visibility, collaboration and representation in the design community,\" which includes New York founding members and interior designers, Young Huh (Architectural Digest 100) and Jessica Davis (Elle Decor A-List). She is also on the Board of Docomomo Philadelphia, which educates the public, and advocates for modern sites, buildings, neighborhoods, and landscapes. Claudette was a DesignPhiladelphia Award Nominee for the Local Community/Social Impact Award and was featured on their podcast, Together We DesignPhiladelphia. She is on the Asian Arts Initiative Gala Committee and is a member of ASID and Collab at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.She holds a Diploma in Architectural Interior Design from Inchbald School of Design in London and a BS in Marketing from Boston College Carroll School of Management. In London, she worked at internationally-renowned architecture firm HOK.Prior to designing interiors that project the style of clients and their homes, Claudette employed her design skills to help brands project their image. She conducted market research and customer surveys, designed compelling websites and collateral, built effective promotions and public relations, and enhanced their social media presence. Her efforts resulted in successful marketing campaigns for partners with varying budgets—from modest small businesses to multi-million dollar corporations such as GlaxoSmithKline, Lockheed Martin, Maybelline, NatWest and Nestle. As she does now, she tailored every solution to fit each need.
