Global clinical development leader in Aesthetics and Dermatology with a career spanning clinical development, medical affairs, and product innovation across multiple sectors — including medical devices, digital health, and healthcare information technology. Currently serving as Global TA Lead for Aesthetics Body Contouring at AbbVie, I direct the Body Contouring Franchise Strategy Team and oversee the planning and execution of device trials from early feasibility through post-market surveillance.Passionate about advancing science-driven, innovative healthcare solutions, I combine strategic vision with hands-on clinical expertise. My work has supported successful product launches in the US, Europe, Australia, and Latin America, ensuring rigorous evidence generation and regulatory alignment while fostering market adoption. Equally committed to people, I take pride in developing talent and building high-performing, collaborative teams.My journey began as a dermatologist, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in Cutaneous Oncology & Skin Imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (NYC). I hold an MD from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, a PhD from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.Outside of work, I maintain balance through yoga and meditation.
