Co-author of a capital business case to deliver digital collection management services to the Libraries. • Create the strategic vision for digital preservation for the CUL network of thirty-four libraries, including the delivery of a new digital preservation strategy and plan that alignswith CUL’s overarching strategy.• Establish the Digital Preservation team and lead a programme to develop digital services using open source and cloud solutions.• Service owner of the digital preservation repository (Fedora v6) and related services (e.g, Deposit Service, Transfer Service).Set up the CUL Digital Preservation Lab to address digital materials on earlier computing formats and research solutions using contemporary computing technologies.• Scope and lead proofs of concept to determine the business need for other possible services (e.g, a web archiving service).• Support the Office of Scholarly Communications and Open Research Systems teams in Core Trust Seal certification for the University’s open access repository.• Serve as co-investigator on the Archive of Tomorrow project to capture and curate online health-related content using the UK Web Archive and investigate options for improved access to web archives. Awarded £230,958 in funding from Wellcome Trust.• Advise and support curatorial staff in their decision making around digital and analogue AV materials (e.g, creating and recording relevant metadata in ArchivesSpace records).• Mentor and manage a team of staff in user and technical roles.
