About Caylea Clark

Graduate from the Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.S. in Economics and a minor in Environmental Science. I graduated with Magna Cum Laude status while taking honors-level courses and maintaining a variety of internships and jobs. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Economics degree with a concentration in Applied Economic Analysis at UNC Charlotte. My anticipated graduation is Spring 2026.As a current analyst, my strongest personable and technical skills come from work experiences and certifications. During my role as a UNC Charlotte Sports Analytics Intern, I utilized programs such as BirdieFire, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Visio, among others to best showcase data per coaches requests. In April 2023, I was selected to be a part of a project with the Carolina Hurricanes Business Analytics Team. The goal of this project was to maximize season versus individual ticket sales and increase overall profit.

   Member of the MedTech Commercial Strategy & Insights team, supporting the Orthopedic business which includes Trauma, Extremities, and Craniomaxillofacial. Support is given through data-driven analysis and reporting. I leverage Tableau, Alteryx, and DBeaver to design, automate, and maintain dashboards and analytical workflows that inform sales, marketing, and strategic decision-making. A key responsibility is partnering with cross-functional teams to translate complex datasets into actionable insights, improve data visibility, and support performance tracking across the organization.
