About Cayla Young
Facilitating and cultivating community with new teachers, school administrators, and partners while developing high-impact motivated teachers. I worked as a Regional Math Coach establishing 2 of the first IDEA campuses in Jacksonville in which I created and implemented math data collecting systems. As a school-based Math Coach, I created virtual classrooms and redesigned the curriculum to help teachers reach the needs of their students as well as serving as a key leader, overseeing athletics and the school PBIS initiative. I also worked directly with students and families as a teacher and as a member of the 2016 Teach For America corps where I was nominated for Teacher of the Year.
