About Cayla Johnson
I’m a results-driven business student at Loyola University Chicago, double majoring in Marketing and Management, with hands-on experience in consulting, nonprofit strategy, marketing, research, and community leadership. Across my roles, one unifying theme stands out: I love strategy. Whether it’s building a market entry plan, crafting data-driven recommendations, or designing programs that bring people together, I thrive when I’m asked to think critically, connect the dots, and deliver actionable solutions.Currently, I serve as a Resident Assistant, leading a community of 100+ students, managing operations, and fostering engagement through mentorship, conflict resolution, and programming. As a Rambler Consulting Group Associate, I collaborate on market research, data analysis, and client-ready recommendations. I also work as a Consultant for Shedd Aquarium through my nonprofit management coursework, where I partner with leadership to develop innovative conservation and community engagement strategies. As a Research Assistant for Loyola’s Social Impact initiative, I contribute to communication strategy and stakeholder outreach helping nonprofits strengthen their impact by bridging academic research with practical tools. In addition, I serve as a Peer Advisor, guiding students through academic and professional planning, and as a Marketing Content Intern, where I transform complex manufacturing projects into compelling stories that support brand growth. What excites me most is the variety; I’ve been able to approach strategy from different angles: business consulting, nonprofit development, academic research, student mentorship, and marketing execution. Each role sharpens my ability to adapt, problem-solve, and think beyond. My ultimate goal is to build a career in strategy consulting and business leadership, where I can continue connecting vision with execution and help organizations grow with purpose.
