ABOUT CAVAN GARSIDE
Cavan has worked with PwC and ADA the National College for Digital Skills to achieve his BSc in Cybersecurity. Alongside his studies, Cavan has gained great experience working with a range of clients with different maturities across many different sectors, helping them to improve their Cyber risk management and continuity planning.After 3 years in a client-facing role, after graduating, Cavan was offered a permanent position to join NIS (PwC’s internal security team) as an Associate. He now sits within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance team helping the UK firm to maintain its Cybersecurity certifications such as ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials+. This involves communicating with many stakeholders across the firm to gather evidence and present it to Auditors to prove that the firm remains compliant with these certifications.
