About Austin Caine

I am an artist, writer, musician audio engineer, graphic designer, web developer, bot creator, blockchain programmer, photographer, film maker, puppeteer, producer, 3D modeler, game designer, virtual reality world builder, immersive XR designer, and all around general socialite. I\'m involved in too many projects and I literally cannot stop myself from continuing to create and make. One day I will sleep.I am also a co-founder of Cause + Christi: Immersive XR Design where we focus on building top tier bespoke virtual reality experiences. We have partnered with some powerful names in the industry already to bring some truly wild and historic experiences to life such as Baba Yaga\'s Forbidden Forest (Baobab Studios), the Al Wasl Dome #ActNowVR Experience (MilleniumART and the United Nations), Golden Apple VR (Golden Apple Comics), The BRCvr Virtual Burn (Big Rock Creative). We\'ve also worked directly with The Burning Man Project, Educators in VR, Bridging The Gap Ventures, MorpheusXR, The Solar Fight Club, MESH Connects, among others.    The Polys - Immersive Awards

   Jan 2021 — Present

   The WebXR awards were simulcasting into a variety of VR and XR platforms including AltspaceVR and we were contracted to build and host the event\'s world. My partner Christi and I had previously worked with Ben Erwin on the Solar Fight Night project so we ended up repurposing that space\'s main architecture for the watch party. I was also responsible for helping to get the award statues shinier and more performant on the lower end mobile platforms.
