ABOUT CAULDER HARVILL-CHILDS

As a member of TikTok’s US State public policy team, I oversee the company\'s state government relations and engagement efforts across the southern United States. Prior to joining TikTok, I served as Public Policy Manager for the Southeastern region for Meta where I managed state government relations across eleven states for the company. Previously, I worked in Deloitte Consulting, LLP\'s Government and Public Services consulting practice as a Senior Consultant on the State of Georgia account where I supported an extensive health care transformation effort. Prior to Deloitte, I served as Director of State Relations for Georgia Tech where I was charged with representing the Institute at all levels of state government and partnering with both private and other public organizations to advance public policy. Additionally, I worked for the Georgia House of Representatives in various capacities for nearly five years, including as Policy Advisor to the House Majority Leader of Georgia where I oversaw the passage of several significant pieces of legislation including, HB 33•••18) which provided Georgia\'s first dedicated funding stream for environmental conservation and HB 53•••19), which provided additional accountability measures on parents and guardians who seek to abuse home education laws. These initiatives required not only significant project management skills but also the ability to bring opposing parties together towards a mutually agreeable solution. I received my MBA in August of 2020 from Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business where I concentrated in strategy & innovation and marketing.
