About Cat Pennenga
Hello, I\'m Cat and I\'m in love with love! I live to find beauty in the every day, and I love to capture people\'s treasured moments. When a groom first sees his bride on their wedding day, the squealing laughter of a little girl being tossed in the air by her daddy, the tiniest gesture of love in a newly engaged couple. A camera has been my favorite accessory since I was 14 and my Dad the newspaperman handed me my first SLR (an amazing old beat-up Nikon). I learned then the joy and importance of telling the stories of my surroundings with a few clicks of the shutter. After fulfilling a dream of working as a Photo Editor at a magazine (for 4 years at SRQ Magazine in Sarasota), and learning the art of directing and styling photo shoots, I have returned to my roots and am photographing full-time again. I prefer to shoot in natural light and in a documentary-style, so that no detail is missed and I can capture life as it unfolds, beautifully. I can\'t wait to meet you and document your greatest moments!
