ABOUT CAT MOGFORD
I run a purpose-driven design agency called Snicket Studio, where I have ideas and design things. Sometimes they win awards. I have experience of teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate Graphic Design courses. I am an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I run Design Matters, a platform for our creative community to network and share thoughts about design. I have worked as a designer for many, many years. I have experience of working with clients both locally and globally, combining idea generation, strategic thinking, art direction and copywriting. I have worked both in agencies and as a freelancer. I have experience of sitting on a Research Ethics Panel, ensuring that academic research is being carried out ethically, and that policy and procedures are followed. I have been a judge for the World Brand Design Society Awards 2023, 2024 & 2025. I have studied Graphic Design practice and theory at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and hold First Class BA Hons and Master of Design qualifications.
