ABOUT CATIE SERTICH

I am an occupational therapist who has diverse work experience including working for a virtual reality rehabilitation device company as a Territory Manager, focusing on increasing integration of the device into facilities and educating providers on best practices when using the device with rehab clients. I have a clinical background of neurological rehabilitation, with a passion for helping those diagnosed with spinal cord injuries, cerebrovascular accidents and brain injuries. I currently teach at University of Southern California as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and work as a per diem neurological Occupational Therapist. I am board certified through NBCOT and practice under my occupational therapy license issued by the state of California. I also hold my advanced practice in physical agent modalities. My clinical training included experiences at Sharp Memorial Inpatient Rehabilitation Center in San Diego, CA, with a focus on people newly diagnosed with spinal cord injuries, and at UCSF Benioff Children\'s Hospital in Oakland, CA, in their inpatient rehabilitation unit where I worked with a variety of diagnoses within the pediatric population.I have a passion for providing client-centered care through creative interventions in order for clients to return to the most fulfilling, independent lives possible.
