About Cátia P. Dombaxe

Researcher with experience in analytical chemistry and biomedical engineering. My research is in fabrication of biomaterials to aid in tissue regeneration. I study goldfish spinal cord injury regenerative ability. I fabricate biomaterials to help in tissue regeneration and development of therapeutics. My previous industry experience led to exceptional team-working and communication skills. I am a Portuguese and English speaker with analytical and problem-solving skills.

   STEAMpact Foundation is a soon to-be 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. We focus on capacity building for low-resource teaching environments around the world with a student-centred hands-on targeted STEM experiment kits. We have identified a concrete need that exists in local communities and designed science experiments for children aged 10 to 18 years old.
