ABOUT CATHY LIM
I am a high-energy and passionate people leader and benefits consultant in beautiful Vancouver, Canada. I am known as a culture evangelist, a fierce mama bear, and I will make magic happen almost anywhere! My passion is building high-performing and compassionate workplaces that help organizations thrive. Throughout my career, my companies have been awarded multiple Great Place to Work accolades, most notably Canada\'s 50 Best Workplaces, and Best Workplaces for Inclusion, for Women, and for Mental Wellness. In my spare time, I love giving back to my community - I am the former volunteer Executive Director for the Vancouver Asian Film Festival, I’ve coached and managed several youth sports teams, and I teach workshops pro-bono and fundraise for non-profits such as DigiBC, UBC Centre for Digital Media, BCIT, Immigrant Services Society, Union Gospel Mission, Vancouver Film School, YWCA, and Greater Vancouver Foodbank. I have been featured on podcasts and edX courses. And, as a former board member for Women in Games Vancouver and Wired Women Society, I love helping women in technology grow and succeed!
