ABOUT CATHERINE HUGHES
My eclectic experience, starting with music and film production and transitioning into leading global digital and integrated campaigns and teams, has led to many exciting opportunities. What sets me apart? I’m a successful big picture thinker who loves to obsess over the small stuff. I have a well deserved reputation for covering off on every minute detail. I believe that has a lot to do with my infectious “can-do” attitude and the fact that I care. Not just about the work, but the people behind it. Those kindred spirits who are willing to take risks and foster change through innovative thinking. It’s more than just a project for me. It’s a passion. I also have a knack for discovering unique workarounds and can leap tall roadblocks in a single bound. There is no puzzle too difficult for me to solve. So, whether I’m working on integrated marketing campaigns, interactive video, rich web applications, complex platform development, social campaigns or strategic consulting projects, I always deliver on time and on budget. Throughout my tenure at RGA, I’ve celebrated many successes. From increasing accounts with negative margins by double digits over only a year, to turning siloed teams into cohesive, collaborative powerhouses, I build unique ways of working that garner measurable results. During my time in Singapore in 2019, the team I led delivered the work that won us Experiential Agency of the Year and Consultancy of the Year from Campaign\'s Agency of the Year Awards, SouthEast Asia. Currently, I’m leading 7 new economy accounts and a team of 5 (and growing) for RGA’s San Francisco production team. The marriage of technology and social justice is of great interest to me. In my spare time, since I currently can’t indulge in my love of international travel, I have to rely on my books to help me escape. For some reason, I can’t part with any of my books, no matter how old they are or how many times I\'ve read them. So, if you want to borrow one, let me know.
