ABOUT CATHY SLIDER
Everyone should be able to understand blockchain technology on some productive level. To that end, I believe language and how it is communicated plays an important role. Blockchain is here to stay. We do not need to know how to program it, but we should be able to explain what it is. I seek to meet with organizations that want to learn more about the benefits of this fierce technology and to see what problem it may solve for them. As a resourceful Technical Writer with working knowledge of Solidity, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I fill a much-needed role in the blockchain ecosystem – communications. With certifications in FinTech from the University of Pennsylvania; Front-End Web Development and JavaScript from Code Louisville; and a breadth of experience in proposal and grant writing, I bring a unique skillset to my work where messaging is a vital component of this fast-paced environment. I have strong experience in proposal, technical, and persuasive writing as well as developing business plans/white papers and contracts. I am intrigued by blockchain technology and am motivated by the opportunities to blend programming language with contract development in the form of smart contracts and front-end user interfaces.I also studied Python and data visualization with Matplotlib, Hvplot, and Plotly.
