The Centre for Ageing Better is an independent charitable foundation that aims to bring about change in society to enable more people to enjoy a good later life.Currently as a Trustee of the Centre for Ageing Better I am supporting the vital importance of good work throughout the life-course as a key to a fulfilling later life. This continues from my work as Chair of the Fit for Work Alliance both nationally and internationally which campaigned for early-intervention for those losing work through ill-health. I also bring my experience in housing and communities to the development of programmes. In addition I sit on the Audit and Risk and Remuneration Committees.
