Why I am grateful every day for the job I do and the company I work for. Year 1990. I was looking for a job in an office while I was finishing my studies at Western Michigan University. I didn\'t care what office or what I did. I landed a part-time Transportation Typist position at JM Wilson until graduating with my degree in Communication and Marketing and went full-time. A year later brought a promotion to Property & Casualty Underwriter which I enjoyed for 6 years until getting the itch to do what I had always dreamed to do - Marketing. The Marketing Manager position opened up and at my request with interest for the position, David Wilson took a chance on a 29 year old who had no practical marketing experience and an education 7 years prior. Since 1997 I have been given the opportunity to build a department and team that drives all of our efforts to keep JM Wilson in front of our agents, carriers and insurance associations. We promote and manage internal communications and reinforce our culture and core values of Integrity, Teamwork, Adaptable, Customer Focused and Expertise. I am blessed to be in an industry that values relationships and that is a big part of what brings me joy and satisfaction in my role at Director of Marketing and Communication for JM Wilson!
