ABOUT CATHRYNE LILLIAN MILBURN
Hi there Thanks for coming to my profile! A little about me, after earning my Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, I entered the government and non-profit industry to explore my passion for streamlining processes, effective communication, and advocating for education, diversity and inclusion. During the day, I work as a Specialist for Transit Fleet Maintenance for Transit Services (OC Transpo) at the City of Ottawa. I work on creating employee engagement strategies and improving internal communications channels. At night, I serve as an OCDSB Trustee, representing the students, parents, and educators of Zone 12 as a School Board Trustee. I aim to bring the community voices to the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. My goal is to foster student achievement, well-being, and equity throughout students’ school careers. Outside of work hours, I enjoy exploring my passion for volunteering in my community, making handmade greeting cards, playing board games, and learning about coffee and wine.
