About Cathleen Madrona
I’m a Los Angeles-based UX designer who creates inclusive experiences powered by research and empathy. I am a problem solver, collaborator, and an innately curious person. I believe that useful design should be accessible for everyone. I personally think that the best work comes out of ideas from different perspectives, embracing change, and challenging assumptions. My curiosity has taken me across industries and continents.I found my way to UX through marketing, technical customer support, and experiential branding. During an introspective time while abroad, I realized that technology helped me do my best work across all the roles I served. While formalizing my UX education, it became clear to me that design problems are all around us as we navigate our daily lives.These experiences have given me perspective and skills that are useful to me as a UX practitioner.I enjoy helping people harness the power of technology to unlock boundaries and amplify creativity. I love being around people, and understanding what motivates them energizes me. The process of building technology informed by a deep understanding of human needs excites me.I’ve used many different types of tools to help tackle my to-do lists – some memorable in good ways and others in bad.
