About Cassie Wise Williams

I lead safety, regulatory strategy, and product compliance for complex energy systems—bringing together engineering, standards, and operational rigor to ensure high-reliability outcomes. My background spans hydrogen systems, nuclear propulsion, and global product certification. I currently serve as a Fellow in Product Compliance, where I lead certification strategy for PEM hydrogen systems across North America and Europe, including UL, CE, and other international approvals. My work sits at the intersection of electrical, pressure, and fluid systems, requiring system-level thinking and close collaboration with engineering, testing, and regulatory bodies.Prior to industry, I spent 12 years in the U.S. Navy’s nuclear propulsion program, where I led reactor mechanical operations and maintenance for a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier and served as Engineering Officer of the Watch. That experience shaped my approach to safety: disciplined, systems-oriented, and grounded in real-world operational risk.I am also actively involved in international standards development across ISO, IEC, ASME, CSA, and U.S. national committees, and was selected as an IEC Young Professional (2025). This work allows me to help shape emerging frameworks for hydrogen and energy systems, and to align product strategy with where regulations are going—not just where they are today.I’m particularly interested in leadership roles where I can scale technical judgment across organizations—whether as a Head of Safety & Regulatory, Chief Engineer, or VP-level leader—while staying closely connected to system-level engineering decisions in high-risk, high-impact environments. If you’re working on complex energy systems or scaling technologies where safety and compliance are mission-critical, I’m always open to connecting.
