Lead International Trade Compliance (ITC) investigations to mitigate risk, develop corrective actions, and continuously strengthen the organization. • Designed the International Trade Compliance center of excellence to incorporate innovation, share best practices and resources, improve policies, and drive continuous improvements to Global Trade Compliance programs. • Manage three direct reports, a full team of 14 personnel, maintain dotted line responsibility for an import team of 28 and a 4-person ITC investigation team, and oversee department and project budgets of $3.86M. • Provide strategic direction for 11 concurrent automation and digital transformation projects that have resulted in a savings of $1.5M. Developed an export reporting tool for international travelers to accurately capture the export of assets, services, and technology. Automated a tool that tracks audit cycles and corrective actions. Headed the development of a new export tool used to determine the Export Jurisdiction and Classification (JC) of items. • Worked with Information Technology leadership to include International Trade requirements and controls into the approval and management of IT tool reviews. • Managed the integration of cultures and processes from business acquisitions over a 4-year implementation plan, including procedures, tools, and teams to develop a core services architecture to strengthen the compliance program.
