About Catherine Lugo

Catherine Lugo is the CTE Department head at I.M. Terrell Academy for STEM and VPA in Fort Worth ISD. She teaches Robotics I, Robotics II, Competitive Robotics, PLTW Engineering Design and Development: Engineering Capstone and PAID Practicum in STEM. She coaches FTC, VEX Robotics, and the Drones Robotics Teams at I.M. Terrell. Previously, Catherine was the Robotics and Engineering Program Coordinator for the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas Council and developed the robotics and engineering programs for the STEM Center of Excellence of GSNETX. Catherine has also founded Game Time Giving, L.L.C. which developed a mobile application that allowed sports fans to get involved in the game by giving to the charity of their choice and competing alongside their favorite teams. Catherine graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Baylor University. While at Baylor, she served as a Line Camp Leader, BU Peer Leader and as Vice President of Brooks Residential College. Specialties: Leadership, team and project management, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
