I have spent the past 25 years focused on people and organizational leadership. My career includes roles as a corporate lawyer, Chief Human Resources Officer, Corporate Secretary for three Boards of Directors, and two other Senior Vice President positions. My expertise is further enhanced by executive education at Columbia and Cambridge, and I am also an ICF accredited coach.COMMUNICATION, RELATIONSHIP BUILDING & COACHINGA skilled communicator and leader, I leverage my extensive professional experience and broad \"peripheral vision\" to align stakeholders, drive success, and develop effective leaders and organizations. EDC was the first Export Credit Agency to adopt the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures. My own business strategy aligns with the UN SDGs #4 (quality education),#5 (gender equality) and #11 (sustainable cities and communities).RISK MANAGEMENT & BOARD GOVERNANCEMy risk management experience includes serving on the Executive Risk Management Committee of a financial institution, navigating a company restructuring and an OSFI review, and acting as media spokesperson. I have worked globally with executives, elected officials and civil society leaders. I have also served as Corporate Secretary to three distinct Boards and have experience with university governance boards.
