About Catherine Simmons
I began my career in Occupational Health Nursing in August 1994, as EHN at St. John Hospital, in Nassau Bay, Texas. I then took a position as Occupational Health Nurse at OxyChem, LaPorte, Texas,(September 1995) where I took part in the VPP Committee. In March 2001, I took a position as Occupational Health Nurse at ExxonMobil Medicine and Occupational Health and continued in increasing positions until 2013, I took the position as Infectious Disease Advisor with ExxonMobil MOH. In this position, I worked to provide for the safety and and health of the employees and contractors by inclusion of employees and contractors in the Tuberculosis Control Program which was completed in December 2016. I retired from ExxonMobil in March 2017. I returned in July 2017, as a contractor employed by Prime Occupational Medicine to work as a Senior Occupational Health Nurse in the ExxonMobil MOH Clinic in Spring, Texas providing Travel Health Information for the ExxonMobil international employees. I have continued in my contract position until December 2022.
