My duties were fish husbandry, water quality, assisting with and running controlled experiments on both aquatic vertebrates and amphibians, histology, high-pressure liquid chromatography, statistics, scientific writing, and presentation of study results at technical conferences.Then I switched to environmental consulting which I did for 8 years as an Environmental Scientist for Sage Environmental and Trihydro. During my consulting career I worked onsite for many refineries, chemical plants, pharmaceutical plants, gas plants, and NGL fractionation facilities in California, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia, and Wyoming. The bulk of my experience was auditing and supporting LDAR and BWON Programs at refineries and chemical plants, as well as designing and customizing environmental compliance tools and programs.Currently I am working for Targa Pipeline (formerly Atlas Pipeline) a Senior Environmental Specialist in the Air Permitting group.
