About Catherine Packer

With a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) and more than 17 years of experience in public health, I am a skilled strategic thinker, effective leader and respectful and resourceful collaborator. As a Technical Advisor for Research Utilization at FHI 360, I implement programs and initiatives that advance fairness and access to information and services around the world, effectively disseminate research findings and programmatic learnings, and spearhead innovative thinking. My passion is to advance the sexual and reproductive health and well-being of under-served populations around the world, especially youth and women. My skillsets include project management, budget management, technical assistance, qualitative and quantitative social and behavioral research, advocacy, communications and knowledge management. I have co-led and co-authored multiple research projects and 25 publications. I have applied design thinking and positive youth development approaches to create positive change. I have also hired, managed, and supervised teams and partners across diverse contexts and cultures.
