As R&D Process Development Leader I have responsibility for leading improvement projects across five Design centres. This involves capturing information and requirements from experienced international cross-functional teams then delivering efficient systems and development processes in Agile PLM, Oracle EBS, Jama, Atlassian JIRA and related business applications. I was solution architect for the first time PLM implementation of Aras Innovator, then managed a multi-site transition to Oracle Agile following company acquisition with no loss of service and full compliance with ISO/TS/IATF 16949. Functionality implemented includes:• Part record creation • BOM management• IFS ERP Integration • Document management, including digital signoff• Product Configuration Management• Engineering Change management • Integrated Mechanical and Electronic CAD management with CAD visualization In 2015 Schrader Electronics received our highest ever ISO/IEC 15504 (Automotive SPICE) audit result due to the process improvement work done by the R&D, Quality and PMT working group I chaired. The highest individual audit score was awarded for Configuration Management, exclusively my development. I am confident my ongoing work will result in future successful Automotive SPICE, IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) audits.A key member of the global team implementing Sensata’s NPDE^2 program (New Product Development Engineering Excellence), I supported rollout of Agile PPM (Product Portfolio Management) and implemented a Key Performance Indicators (KPI) suite following a major contribution to its development in OBIEE. I also led the introduction of Oracle Time and Labour (OTL) to support accurate project costing.Other ongoing projects include the European expansion of Issue and Requirement Management tools (Atlassian JIRA and Jama respectively), implementation of FMEA best practice in five design sites using APIS and global implementation of Special Characteristics Flowdown.
