Assist the Restaurant General Manager in the day-to-day operations for branded concepts in a multi-unit environment. Specific duties include: Coordinate and supervise activities of employees and supervisory personnel; train employees in company policies and procedures; ensure quality employee performance. Verify sales reporting, cash handling and payroll accounting reports; prepare various cost and operational reports. Maintain positive customer relations by ensuring efficient, quality service and products. Assist in HR duties such as performing counseling and applying corrective actions, and even took the lead by teaching other managers how the process worked and mentoring them through it. Learned the union and corporate policy procedures and handbooks rapidly in order to be a better asset to the company. My leadership led to better reviews from customers, higher employee retention rates, and a better bottom line for the company.Responsible for maximizing on the overall sales and profits for 5 restaurants.
