Being a \"can-do\" person and team player, I effectively work independently, and foster and develop relationships by actively listening and communicating with others. I believe businesses are most successful and clients best served when accountability and collaboration takes place and ideas are shared and incorporated into the final product thus creating solution driven results. I ask questions to clarify responsibilities, read, review, and interpret information. I also thoroughly research and analyze data, critically reason, draw conclusions, and diagnose problems. Prior to formulating a business plan, I execute programming, problem solve, and achieve positive outcomes by meeting or exceeding company goals. I act with purpose and am detailed and accountable. I cross check information and deliver products and services on time and within budget. To accomplish this, I use a systematic approach and plan tasks efficiently by creating an agenda and operating by order of importance. Schedules are coordinated with team members, clients, and stakeholders. Costs are calculated and budgets reviewed. I also implement project administration, organize and lead group meetings and presentations, and proactivly address concerns. I execute conflict resolution by providing solutions for client satisfaction and guard confidential information with the utmost of secrecy while making sound, ethical decisions.My passion, however, is to educate our youth through hands-on learning in an outdoor environment. This has driven me to lead and create science curriculum, coordinate speakers, lessons, and activities for a fishing club, perform as a school, garden coordinator and instructor, and be a co-creator and co-founder of Panther Outdoor Education Camp-a non-profit organization specializing in providing an overnight, outside, science camp adventure for elementary students. Each of these programs required careful planning and a volunteer commitment of approximately two years to coordinate and organize all logistics and curriculum necessary to incorporate a one-of-a-kind learning experience.Whether I am working with students in education, planning and organizing events, or using my interpersonal skills to increase company growth, it is my continued level of detail, follow through, and determination which make me a valuable asset to any company.    As a teacher at an expeditionary learning school, I am excited to be in charge of creating, teaching, and leading fun-filled science lessons within an outdoor learning environment-our school garden.I prepare lessons that teach about various ecosystems within the garden, lead students to inspect and hypothesize about situations they see, and ask them to troubleshoot,\"What do you think will work better and why?\"With about a third of an acre of land, I tend to a variety of fruit trees, maintain 16 raised planting beds, a greenhouse, compost bins, large pond with waterfall, open ground for seasonal plantings, and native plant garden. Students as young as three years of age through fifth grade participate in helping grow and maintain plants in our school garden by learning about the various ecosystems within while exploring the soil and preparing the ground for planting organic vegetables, herbs, and flowers. And in addition to all of this, enjoy the benefits of hard work as seen in the flowers they\'ve grown and fruits and vegetables they get to sample.
