About Catherine Cabrera
I’m a Christopher Newport University alumni with a BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. I also completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Marymount University. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed in Maryland, Virginia, Florida, and Oregon, operating my virtual private practice - Inner Strength Counseling, LLC.I also spent a year writing content for Brainz Magazine as an Executive Contributor to spread awareness of the impacts of anxiety, perfectionism, eating disorders, and related challenges on a person\'s mental health and overall well-being. During this time, I contributed with a series of publishers and authors to co-author multiple international bestselling books, as well as self-publishing my own project - Broken Trust, Healing Hearts - onboarding contributing authors from various walks of life to share their experiences with healing from toxic and abusive relationships. All the proceeds from this project were donated to a local charity dedicated to serving those healing from domestic violence and abuse, helping them find resources to rebuild their lives and find freedom.
