Project facilitation and lead management for the implementation of Inviting Light, a complex two-year public art project curated by artist Derrick Adams and realized through the collaboration of Central Baltimore Partnership, the Neighborhood Design Center (NDC), and the Mayor’s Office of Art and Culture. The project was selected in late 2023 to receive $1 million in funding from Bloomberg Philanthropies through their Public Art Challenge, a program that brings people together to address important civic issues through public art. Inviting Light addresses the civic issue of revitalization in the Station North Arts District through creative lighting incorporated into five artist designed outdoor public art installations that enhance the public realm, along with engaging community events in and around these sites in 2025.
