About Catharine Yoder
I\'m Catharine Yoder, a whirlwind of creativity, fueled by equal parts caffeine and the endless pursuit of side quests. As a born and bred Tar Heel child, my loud imagination and passion for design were easily expressed whenever I was given a crayon and a piece of paper. Some of my happiest memories from my childhood involve doing something creative with art, like drawing all over the kids’ menus at restaurants and going on my grandparents’ computer to draw digital art and then print it out to put on the fridge. Now, as a current senior Ad/PR major in the UNC-Chapel Hill Hussman School of Journalism and Media, I have made my inner Tar Heel child proud. Over the last six years, I have developed a well-curated portfolio showcasing various projects that demonstrate a strong, effective methodology for research, inspiration, design development, and final execution. I have experience in Adobe Suite, Miro, Keynote, Photoshop, Graphic Design, Studio Art & Web Development. I am deeply immersed in creative expression and visual aesthetics, creatively agile, and adept in innovative thinking, visioning, and problem-solving, and am constantly driven by a passion for crafting my path toward becoming an art director, one beautifully organized chaos at a time.
