About Caterina Bulgarella
I started out studying human behavior in a research lab. I ended up designing and delivering culture transformations for large and medium organizations. By helping business address some of today’s most fundamental challenges— How do we engage employees and infuse work with passion and purpose? How do we build an ethical culture? How do we develop leadership capacities for an era of fast change and deep complexity? How do we equip self-directed teams with agility and adaptability? — I’ve come to love my work even more. The workplace of the future needs the best human qualities. To architect it right, we need to keep connecting the dots across practices, build on our respective learnings and experiences, encourage self-awareness in ourselves and others, and ignite change from the individual to the organization. I partner with institutions who seek the same type of change. I focus on marrying science to practice because to me that is the only way to truly help companies evolve and best themselves. The many lines of work that have shaped my professional life (consulting, research, teaching, writing) have all converged in a startup called Be Thread. Born to provide assets, tools, and solutions to help organizations make their culture more human-centric (and, therefore, ethical), Be Thread is about individual and organizational change, self-awareness and self-directness, purposeful work and more. So, if you are curious, follow me in this adventure—your insights, feedback, and thoughts will be invaluable as I look into the next frontier of what work and the workplace need to be about. Finally, I write on Forbes.com, LinkedIn, and other platforms because I believe in fostering exchanges of ideas, introspection, discovery, and learning. Get in touch and let’s stay connected.
